Login to your seedbox via SSH in a terminal

Last Updated: Nov 23, 2011 05:33PM CST

Windows:

  • If you have Windows, you need to download a simple SSH client.
  • We recommend putty. It's a single file to download so there's no installation needed and you can save it to your Desktop or wherever is convenient for you.  You can download it here.
  • Here are some simple instructions on how to login to your server through SSH with putty. Note: most people will not be logging in through a proxy server as is semi-mentioned in this tutorial.
  • For more general information on SSH connections see here.

Mac or Linux:

  • If you have Mac or Linux you don't need to install anything, just open up a terminal window and type:
    ssh [username]@[seedboxname].s33db0x.com
  • Mac users may need to use Finder to find and start terminal.

Your usernamepasswordseedbox name, and other information can be found in your Dashboard on the 'Information' tab.
