If you get a blank page after logging in, this is most likely because of a corrupted .torrent file. It is also easy to fix.

What is happening is that a .torrent file (the small meta info file you download from your tracker) is incomplete or corrupted. When the Torrentflux web application tries to read this .torrent file it just chokes.

Why is the .torrent file corrupted? This can happen because of a problem when downloading it from your tracker or a number of other reasons. Removing the .torrent file from the seedbox fixes the problem on the seedbox, and downloading the .torrent file again from the tracker and uploading the .torrent file to your seedbox usually works as well. (We are not aware of an instance where a .torrent file is corrupted by the tracker.)

To fix this you need to use SFTP (FTP wont work in this case). Log into your seedbox via SFTP and find the ".transfers" folder. This is usually located in /home/torrentflux/.transfers on older boxes or /admin/.transfers on newer boxes. Find the last few torrent you uploaded before the problem happened. Move it out of the ".transfers" directory. You can create another directory called ".transfers_bak" for instance and move them in there.

Refresh your web browser and you should see Torrentflux come up right away. You can then try re-downloading the .torrent file from your tracker. The almost always fixes the problem.

Important: Your data files do not cause this problem and should not be deleted. Again, you do not need to delete any of your data files.

As always, please feel free to open up a ticket if you need help with this or have any questions.
