To stop a torrent, simply click on the red square button - be advised that both the .torrent and finished files will still exist on your server. The red X button beside the Stop button will remove the actual .torrent file and terminate the job, but the finished files also still exist on your server.
Depending on how TorrentFlux is configured, you may or may not have a multi-operation dropdown menu underneath your torrents. This allows for a variety of tasks, including batch jobs (the same tasks for multiple selected torrents). While not necessary for TFlux functionality, it's very handy to have on the main TFlux frontend page.
Multi operations can be used to stop & delete multiple torrent jobs, among other tasks. Simply put checkmarks in the boxes of the torrents you wish to process, and select an option from the dropdown menu. Clicking "Go" completes the action. From the screenshot above, here is a list of the available tasks:
If you do not see the multi operations feature, you'll need to enable it in the TFlux settings. To do this, go into Admin at the top right corner, then click the "index" tab.
Next, scroll down to where it lists "Multi Operations:" and set this to True. Be sure to click the Update Settings button at the bottom of the window. Return to the TFlux frontend (main page), where it will now be listed.
Knowing the difference between the Delete and Delete with Data feature is very important, since all seedboxes will have some sort of limitation for how much storage is available (hard drive space) on the server. Using Delete will only remove the torrent job, but the files (data) will still remain on the server in your directory, taking up precious space. Delete with Data will remove the torrent & all files, freeing up your storage. Be advised that this action is a permanent removal, and not undoable.
